Prayer Ministry
There are three opportunities to serve in prayer ministry.

  • Prayer Chain – The Prayer Chain members are ready to respond to emergency prayer needs of the Horizon Community. Requests are called to the prayer team members.
  • The PUSH Team – Pray Until Something Happens – this prayer team prays for ongoing needs of the congregation and the church. Requests are sent via email.
  • Prayer Partners – This team of people prays for the staff and elders and their families on an ongoing basis.
  • Sunday morning prayer team is available to pray after the services.

Love Meals
The love meals ministry furnishes meals during crisis times as a means of encouragement and practical help. Meals are prepared and delivered on an as needed basis. For more information, contact Dianne at 745-0700 x17 or dianne@horizonweb.org.

Library
The HCC library is a self-serve library open each week located in the café area based on an honor system. The library contains a wide range of resources to teach, encourage- general interest, fiction, non-fiction, Bible study guides, children’s, videos, music and Life Group leader’s resources.

Worship Team
The Worship Ministry’s purpose is to create an environment that draws people into worship through music. We generally create teams, which get music about a week before rehearsal so we can come prepared to practice together as a team. The commitment is a rehearsal mid-week and three
services on Sunday and personal practice time. An audition is required for selection to one of Horizon’s worship teams. For more information, contact Kristi Aberle at 745-0700 or kristi@horizonweb.org.

Multimedia Team
Work in the sound booth, video taping or operating the multimedia software during Sunday services. Requires working all three services on a Sunday. Ability to focus and work under pressure is a must.
