Horizon’s Care Ministry is designed to offer encouragement and hope to those who are hurting. We want to reach out in obedience to Christ by serving others with love, offering hope and light in time of darkness.

Sunshine Food pantry

Horizon Church is a drop location currently collecting clothing and canned foods.
The food closet is open on the 2nd Thursdays of each month from 8 am-10 am at United Methodist Church in Galt. Also on the 4th Thursday from 8 am - 9 am.

In October/November we do a Can Food Collection to help fill the closet for those in need during the cold winter months and holidays. Here is the list of the items we will be collecting weekly.

Week of:

Oct. 31st: any canned items (corn and green beans are the favorites)

Nov. 7th: pasta, mac & cheese, instant potatoes

Nov. 14th: Canned fruit, sweet potatoes & rice

Nov 21st: Cheerios, cereals, oatmeal, granola bars.

Nov. 28th: Canned soups, pasta sauces canned meats

Workshops
