Thank you for wanting to be a buddy for Night to Shine! Buddies help make Night to Shine special for each and every honored guest.
A Buddy is one of the best jobs at Night to Shine.
They get to spend the entire night with an honored guest. Which means you get to see them walk down the red carpet, pose for pictures, visit Karaoke or take a ride in a Limo, dance the night away and of course crown them King or Queen of the prom at the end of the night. A Buddy’s main job is to make sure the guest is enjoying their evening and is never left out of the fun!
There will be a training session required for all volunteers before the event, so you will be well prepared for your role. Our Buddies do not need to have any experience working with people in the special needs community. However, if you do have experience please let us know when you register. (ages 14+)
